Vehicle bug sweeps
If someone always seems to know where you've been, your car is the first place to check. We inspect it inside, underneath and electrically — then tell you exactly what is there.
Typical visit: 1–2 hours
We come to you
Written findings
What we look for
GPS trackers — hardwired and magnetic
Under bumpers, in wheel wells, spliced into the harness, or sitting in the OBD-II port.
Audio recorders and transmitters
Voice-activated recorders under seats and in consoles, plus live RF transmitters.
Cameras aimed at the cabin
Dash-cam add-ons and lens-based devices pointed at you rather than the road.
Telematics and app-based tracking
Manufacturer apps, insurance dongles and phone pairings someone else still controls.
Physical tampering
Fresh tool marks, disturbed panels and wiring that does not belong in your model.
Questions about this sweep
How long does a vehicle sweep take?
+
Most cars take one to two hours. Larger vehicles, or a car with aftermarket electronics already installed, can take longer — we tell you before we start.
Do I have to bring the car to you?
+
No. We come to you, or meet somewhere neutral if having us at your home or office would raise questions.
Can you check more than one vehicle?
+
Yes. Additional vehicles swept in the same visit are quoted at a reduced rate.
If we find something
We photograph and document it in place before anything is touched. Removing a device immediately tells the other party you know — sometimes that is the right call, sometimes it is not. We walk you through both, and coordinate with your attorney if you have one.
